I love practicing yoga in the mornings. As well as boosting the circulation and immune system, the mood boost received through a moving is one of the most beneficial reasons I practice yoga in the mornings.
Don't worry if you are not a morning person - a yoga practice has no pre-requisites. You do not have to be flexible, strong, skinny, vegetarian or any other stereotype attached to ‘yoga people’. A yoga practice is not about attaining the ability to perform impressive postures, touching your toes, not is it about being able to sit in meditation for hours and hours. It’s about moving your body and breath to find out who you are beneath the bad habits that have built up over time, over the chattering mind and the aching body. To reconnect all the layers of our being and feel simply better in your skin.
“Start from where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can”.
In these three short videos you can watch my spontaneous practice, nothing was planned. I kept it just a little bit stimulating and energising, but mostly deliciously relaxing. After all it was my "me-time".
